To be open and honest, that yes, even at my age a so called friend made a comment that hurt my feelings. I don't know what terms to use, I just know I would feel better if I wrote it all out.
I have blog friends that I think need me LOL. Well, they need my prayers.
This friend told me over and over " I don't do blogs". Fine! she didn't need to do blogs, that was her decision. I like my blog, I like my blog friends. Well, she said it so often I started feeling I was doing something wrong. go ahead and laugh because it really is funny now. But, it shows you how words can work on a person.
Just recently a blog friend offered to teach me something new and I can't tell you how excited I am about it. Next note from friend lets me know she is not happy that I will be learning something new and she can't learn because she doesn't do blogs. Also she no longer speaks to me. Does this sound anything like an adult?? Well, anyhow she will not be standing in the way of my blogging my fingers to the bone.
Thought I would leave you with a picture from our valley. Yes, I am blessed. I read that just because God closes a door doesn't mean he is keeping you from something, but is saving you from something you don't need to go through.
I PM's you. I so know how you feel as it has been done to me as well, numerous times. I am glad to have found someone who understands the crush I felt after being told this on several occasions.

Nonie, I have heard someone say that as well and all I can say is to each is own. I enjoy reading blogs and enjoy my blog even though I am not as faithful at keeping it up and posting as I should be. The friend not speaking is pretty childish. Just keep on keeping on keeping on with what makes you happy ,my friend!!
ReplyDeleteNonie, that is not a true friend. Friends are honest with us on the important things, but they don't hurt us. They do it from and with love. What she did was not done in love. There is no time in life for toxic people. We can pray for them, but we don't have to associate with them. You are a wonderful person, and I love your blog. Keep it up! Love to my bloggin' friend.
