FINALLY SOME SEWING

                                            Madi models her new clothes

Sewing long distance is hard.  I have always had the little ones close by and that has made sizing easy.

Her bee dress is a size two, so it will fit for awhile. I am just glad she had her model it.

Her pillowcase type dress.  This was fun
to make once I wrapped my head around
how to do it.  I did use the measurements
her mom sent. Probably good it is not
                          Shorter.

Madie models her sunsuit.  This one I think I got right.

Always fun to sew for little ones.

WHO IS REALLY IN CONTROL?

                               NOT ME, THAT"S FOR SURE

I will start by asking for prayers for Mr.and Mrs Sweet.
she, is also known as BJ, owner of the blog sweet nothings.

So, here I am in an argument with of all people GOD!
I was told to post asking for prayer, I said " I did already, I posted on noniesparadise."   This has been going on for a few days.  Of coarse over those days, I found I had no motivation, none!!   I delayed as best I could.  I read books, and all the time there was this voice saying "Post asking for prayer, BJ needs prayer".
BJ, is the sweetest person, here is a couple of post from her blog.

Then I went over and read her blog and it came through loud and clear, please pray.  Bill is fighting cancer and is fighting hard.  I know you will hold them in your hearts.

WHAT I AM UP TO NOW!!

                            Next Project

I am starting on Christmas presents.  I know it seem early, but it really isn't when you have a lot of families to sew for.  I like getting things made with love over anything from the store.   Well, there are acceptations to that!  when the grand-kids find something for me, then it becomes very special.
As most of you know I love boating, and so do some members of our family.  They either love it and have a boat or they are total land lovers.

So what does this have to do with Christmas sewing?
I did these stitch out yesterday.  right before my eye Dr. but that's another story.

Not well hooped, I just wanted to see how it stitched out.

So, place mats, towels what ever will work.
Have you started thinking about Christmas sewing?

ANOTHER PROJECT DONE!

                         Pillowcase dress

This is the first pillowcase type dress I have made that ties in the back.  The mom wanted it to tie on the shoulder but I have had enough experience with little ones to know they will pull on anything tied in the front or the ones that tie on the shoulders.  Older girls seem to leave them alone.
So with help from Angela who owns the blog justgivemeaneedle , I am now finished with this dress.  we will have to see if she likes it before I make more but it was fun.
