Decisions are made

                                                   Time to get busy

I had some help making the decisions.  the piping is made.  The lining is cut, so now it is a matter of putting it all together.

  As you can see, I went with some yellow rick rack to soften the black.

 I made the piping from black and white checked fabric.

Now it is a matter of putting it all together.

 To all my friends---  soon we will be back on the river, with this sun it can't be long now.

Decisions

Defiantly time to get back to sewing and now there are decisions to be made.

I have decided to use the HOLLY pattern, from Bonnie Blue.  I have used this a thousand times but it still needs a new look.

  So, wanting to use fabric on hand I thought the bees would be cute.
I want to add ribbon and now the decision as to use yellow, which doesn't seem like a good idea or go with something along the line of using black ribbon.

My other choice is to order black and white colored ribbon as suggested.  I am tending to think black and white, what do you think?

Happy first day of spring

BACK IN THE SEWING ROOM

                Back to sewing

My last surgery was yesterday and went well.  I was able to come home last night, because I have such good care takers.

so, I am back to the sewing room and getting to try out the light my granddaughter gave me for Christmas.  It has been a long time, but it will get lots of use now.

 

French Christening gown

 I don't speak French but isn't his just beautiful?   I found it on pinterest and know it breaks the language barrier.   I could just gaze on it for hours. 

 

A ROSE

                  A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.

I am sending a rose today to everyone that needs one.  so many times we go through things not of our choosing.  Just know that at such times God is there.   A prayer for you.
