Lost in the sewing room. A friend I met on line just happens to be a quilter. Her name is Linda and she must be the most patient person because I just keep messing up.
This is where I am on Otto's quilt. I have since added a small boarder. The next assignment is to do pinwheels, so I have started on those today.
Sometimes I have even just sat down and cried over this quilt stuff. I know, it sounds silly to me but I also know there will be more tears.
All the time I was sewing for the grands, I was saving scraps with the thought of someday making them quilts from the scraps. Seemed like a pretty easy goal to me. I had no clue about points matching and for the word perfect to be used so much. For sewing squares and cutting those squares in half and on and on we go, sewing, cutting, re-sewing more cutting.
Tomorrow, more cutting, sewing and cutting--
